Ugly Minister pledges 10p tax inquiry

The ugly Minister in question is Yvette Cooper but, she is married to Ed “So What” Balls who wants to be the next Leader of the Labour Party and, is not that unhappy that “Gordon” has gone tits up so quickly even if, rather surprised at the speed that he has.

The most interesting aspect of this comes not from it being these two sad persons with their between them, a predilection to spending on average, £6,000 per week on ‘expenses’ travelling to Yorkshire with their side by side constituencies and one common home there + an “uncommon home” in London on top of which both, as members of the Cabinet, being paid £120,000 pa. each as salary – nice work if you can get it and wouldn’t we all living off a ‘proper job’. No, it is to do with the ‘substance’.

This abolition of the 10p tax rate was announced in Gordon Brown’s last Budget as Chancellor of the Exchequer, a full year ago and in a world where Labour MPs expected Labour Party dominance to exist forever. “What a Difference a Day Makes, just 24 little hours…”

The Labour “revolt” over the abolition of the 10p tax band has nothing whatever to do with “fairness” and everything to do with their personal chances of being re-elected in a world that has turned against Gordon Brown and the Labour Party.

The thing that I find most interesting is the “assumption” of these so called “rebels” that we, the electorate, are so stupid as to believe that all of a sudden, these placemen and women, are “on our side” when as we all know, they have ever been solely following their own personal benefit as a priority over anything we as the people who pay them, might be interested in.

Time For a Change

The problem with our current “Party System” is that new MPs will be told by the “Old Sweats” from their party, just what to claim for in terms of allowances, the John Lewis List and mortgage subsidies, all of which just continues the corruption of the past.

What we need are men and women who are ‘independent’ by nature, to stand for Parliament. True, they may declare themselves as in my case, “An Independent Tory” but never be part of the Conservative Party or, an “Independent Socialist”. Pay their own election expenses and so on, it is high time that we ended the “Party Whip System” because that is the system whereby our “elected representatives” have sold their souls and our votes for a “mess of potage” in the EU Constitution which has removed our right to de-select Governments that fail our national aspirations.

Consider

Would any independent Parliament have bowed their head to Miliband, Brown and the absent crook Tony Blair over the EU Constitution ? One suspects but knows not why anyone would have agreed to any rule of the British people by foreigners when you, as an elected representative of the British people, had the option to question it all. Cowards all when personal advantage and job security reign supreme it does appear.
