The EU – A Mad Hatters Tea Party

Following the result of the Irish Referendum, our disgraceful Government led by “Dead Man Walking” Brown and his ‘son of an immigrant family’ Milliband, will apparently press ahead with ratifying the EU Constitution so that if the chance arises, we UK citizens can still be sold into EU slavery and they can pick up whatever inducements Brussels has offered them personally.

The most interesting thing was watching the odious Milliband being interviewed, he really must be one of the most stupid creatures on the planet. If he had bothered to look at the comments made by Irish voters as to why they rejected it, leave aside those passionately opposed and everyone else said that they didn’t understand it and therefore felt that it must be wrong in some way.

Milly the Muppet

He then goes on to say that the British Parliament has examined the Bill and approved it after much deliberation which we all know is a pack of lies, the Bill passed because of Labour’s current majority plus the flib flobs abstaining and the fact that the average Labour back bencher is a spineless weasel that can be bought with “unaudited expenses”

The problem that this decrepit Government hasn’t faced is that if this EU Constitution is far too complicated to be put to the electorate in a Referendum, it is a bit of paper that shouldn’t exist at all. Again this lack of a grasp of the basics is due to these people not having any experience outside the introverted and incestuous world of politics.

Something that you learn very early on in management is that however far reaching a project or business plan, if it can’t be summarised on one side of A4, it just won’t fly – period. If we the electorate who employ these parasites at Parliament, are too stupid to vote on such matters, we should make it clear that we will never vote for any person who supports depriving us of our democratic voice.

The LibDems have behaved badly over all of this and in principle should never have voted with the Government but this week in the Lords, they can make amends and refuse to give the Bill its third reading which will merely suspend its passage rather than strike it down which most of us wish they would. It would be the reasonable thing to do because without all 27 approving it, it cannot become law but, it will stay in stasis until the Dissolution of Parliament in May 2010 when finally it would fall away and be “lost”.

The EU Bureaucrats

They just don’t accept NO as an answer, they are totally fixated on extinguishing democracy throughout Europe. The real problem lies in the fact that the EU has not stated where it is going, has never laid out a projected time plan, the milestones along the way and then asked the citizens of the EU to approve it. In simple terms, we the citizens of the EU are just an inconvenience to this “Ruling Elite” and they will not answer to us, let alone consult us, I hope that they realise that this can only end badly and most likely, very badly.

On Friday. a very close friend of mine who happens to be French and a Communist, sent me a “Hurrah !” text when she heard of the Irish result. This is not just an issue from the Brits and the Irish, right across the continent people of different political persuasions and countries all, oppose this EU sham. The problem for Brussels is that they are not listening, never will and in the end may well have to be removed by force so that Europe can grow and prosper.

The British Government

The British Establishment too had better watch out, by aping Brussels they are storing up real problems which may well break out in any of a number of ways. There is a gathering mood in these islands over a whole number of issues where people are very frustrated over not being listened to. Brown might have survived if people were able to still believe in him as a great Chancellor of the Exchequer but the truth is out, whether over sudden concessions on Inheritance Tax, the cowardly election that never was, reversing the 10p tax band decision, Northern Rock, an inability to keep our data secure, rising fuel and food costs, this is absolutely no time for Brown to play fast and loose with the electorate.

When I look at this Government’s record on legislation and spending, it is poor, very poor but what will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and leads to something dramatic that suddenly wells up on the streets of London and brings Parliament down ?

I am not that clever and neither have I a crystal ball. There are specific issues that piss me off, the EU, 42 Days and so on but these things may not register as strongly with others. My instincts tell me that the match which will light the fuse will be some other issue and most likely not even that important but one that is not yet obvious. These things happen from time to time but Labour is very badly situated, not just because it is unpopular currently but because it is an incompetent Government and that will always finish one off.

However how these things work is that when it does surface, in some peculiar way, across all classes and the political spectrum, “it” will encapsulate all that has gone wrong with British Society and Government, it will be a watershed moment and many will be swept away, Brown and the top tier of the Labour Party just won’t survive. Just like Brown as Chancellor was profligate with the public finances during the “good times” so that we are where we are today financially, Blair starting with Iraq, squandered all their political capital with the electorate so that there is no goodwill left for them.
