The latest “Scoop” by the News of the World concerns some video footage of Prince Harry as an Officer Cadet “goofing around” on a training exercise. “The News of the World has obtained shocking video…” and all the usual poorly written crap that the pea sized brains of the Editorial staff can come up with.

Well it just goes to show that with “Strictly Come Dancing” finished and their advertising revenue falling off a cliff, the Editors of the News of the World will do anything for a ‘story’ as would some snide shit of a ‘friend’ who passed the video on for a few pieces of silver.

Leave These Lads Alone

At a guess, the usual sort of ‘banter’ between young men engaged in soldiering and clearly taken totally out of context for “other people’s reasons”. The Media likes to hide its own sins like, beating up your husband and the Police having to be called in the early hours but will attack anyone who they believe can’t ‘answer back’ for whatever reason.

If the two Princes took a “defensive posture” based upon the fact that it appears that any of their so called friends would betray them to the Media, they would be called “Aloof and disconnected from Society”, horse around as young men do and they are deemed “Irresponsible” by those guardians of the morality – the Murdoch Press, whatever they do, they can’t win on this.

Unintended Consequences ?

I wonder if the News of the World and its employees could be charged with stirring up racial hatred under one of the oh so many Acts of Parliament passed in these past 11 years ?

Although I would never consider myself subtle, from living and working in the USA which can be a very litigious society, you learn that it cuts both ways. Sure you can sue a person or a company but, you have to be pristine in your personal actions regarding the events which are the subject of any Court actions.

In a sense, the UK is very new to these kind of “politically correct” style legislation which has increasingly become all the vogue under these meddlesome Labour Governments which having given away our sovereignty to Brussels and now 80% of our Laws coming from there, has had to find things to do. We all know what the Devil does with idle hands… in the case of the Labour Party, it is to produce ill thought out legislation, by the barrel full.

So the question is that whilst the News of the World might claim “public interest” as justification for publishing this crap, it might actually be guilty of stirring up racial hatred and there can be no defence of “unintended consequences” because like “collateral damage” in warfare, any intelligent person must have foreseen that their actions could result in such an outcome.

A Slam Dunk for Stirring Up Racial Hatred

The big problem with this story is that it is exactly the one people like the BNP would like to see out there because it stokes up the resentment among the white underclass that they feed on.

Ordinary people will rightly resent the “political correctness” implied in the story, those with sons of a similar age will just laugh at the “pompous huff and puff” of the newspaper but worse than that, it can stir up resentment against the population of Asian origin within the UK so none of this is very clever behaviour by the Editor of the News of the World.

There is an increasing and underlying sense of grievance among white working class people over immigration generally, a thankless war in Afghanistan, the events of 7/7, an Asian community that is suspected of being little better than the “enemy within” and a Government in total denial about having lost control of immigration, its responsibility for that and having no plans to deal with the consequences.

Is Anybody Listening ?

I am quite sure that F***ing Paki and a lot worse will be epithets heard in all too many places where the “ignored white working class” congregate. The question is, could the News of the World have anticipated such a reaction ? I would say, highly likely as they know their demographic market like the back of their hands. Or did they as the “Quality Papers” tend to do, ‘quote a tits and bums’ story from the tabloids and give it a different spin but really, all they have done is run a ‘tits and bums’ story. Did the News of the World run this story with faux outrage but really their aim was a “wink, wink, nudge, nudge to their readership saying in effect, “we don’t like them either” ?

After 11 years in office, Hazel Blears has suddenly noticed that there might be a problem with white working class people although in true Labour fashion, she blames them for having the “wrong perceptions” of what she thinks is reality. Amazing how quickly this Government has totally adopted “Euro-Speak” – the Irish didn’t vote NO to the Lisbon Treaty, they merely GAVE THE WRONG ANSWER !
