As the House of Lords has virtually no powers left anyway, just how can any one of them as an individual alter legislation ? I would not charge the 4 concerned with “Corruption” rather “Fraud” and whoever wanted to pay them I would “Section them under the Mental Health Act”.

The House of Lords

Of course your average Socialist will object to the word “Lord” because such is their petty nature and inverted snobbery rather as most MPs of all parties, object to the Monarch being separate and superior to them, politicians really can’t abide being upstaged on anything as most are egotistical fools at best.

The biggest problems and threat to the freedom of the citizens of the United Kingdom lies in the House of Commons and these need to be addressed first because from that will flow naturally the shape and function of any Second Chamber. Personally I would prefer to see it retain the name House of Lords simply because it has a historical relevance to the story of our Islands and the long march to Democracy, a march currently stalled by the Members of the House of Commons and the EU in Brussels.

Separation of Powers

In the English Civil War of the 17^th Century Parliament (The Legislation & Tax Raising body), defended itself from the the King (The Executive who spent the taxes), the King stood outside of Parliament. Well actually not quite true because just as today, it was a “Rump Parliament”, it was Oliver Cromwell that made the difference then.

If we look at today we see that the “King” in the shape of the Prime Minister, sits inside the Commons and through those well tried and trusted tools of any Court of old, through ‘patronage’ and ‘favouritism’ controls the actions of all. Today, a majority Government is a recipe for a virtual Dictatorship simply because politics today, attracts ‘professional politicians’ as a job opportunity rather than men and women of conscience who wish to serve these Island Peoples in good faith.

In the roughly 350 years we have evolved from the despotic rule of an unelected King in Charles I to oddly, the tyrannical rule of another Scot in the shape of Gordon Brown who is also unelected to his current Office as Prime Minister of the UK.

This nonsense must stop because we now have the exact circumstances whereby a British Dictator could take power.

My Future Blog

I am in the process of changing the design and type of content I ‘publish’. I have decided that writing rude words about Gordon Brown and all the other clowns that dwell in the ‘House of the Very Common’, is pointless. It might make me feel better for putting my thoughts down on electronic paper but in practical terms, I am just pissing in the wind, for all my passion I am influencing nothing.

What I’ve decided to do is concentrate on the British Constitution and concentrate on the “Facts” rather than my personal “Opinions” but of course, they will still figure because leaving the EU is at the heart of letting the United Kingdom flourish in so many ways. Having 80% of your Laws made in Brussels rather than the House of Commons is a clear signal of the total abdication of democracy and personal responsibility by our current “elected representatives”.

It is a time for change and the only question lies in whether the Executioner’s Axe will have to be involved or, can things be done by honest means which would exclude the majority of politicians and Media organisations. The problem is that these latter will cling on to their “powers” like limpets to rock, to avoid violence they must be persuaded to just ‘let go and float downstream’.
